9時起床。
ネットで BBC Radio Four の Any Question? という討論番組を聴きながらストレッチング1時間。
Jonathan Dimbleby chairs a topical debate.
11時半に家を出たが、証明写真を撮っていたら遅くなり、会場には3分遅れで到着。
晴れていて気持ちがいい天気。
Part I
難易度は普通。
lined (Bottles are lined. Columns are lined. People are lined.)
parked (Cars are parked. Bikes are parked in a rack. )
row ( in a row a row of 〜)
が数回使われていた。
いつも出る
overlook
や
stacked
や
putting on
もまた出た。
The buildings overlook the park.（間違いの選択肢）
受動態が多く使われていた。
最後の2問が難しかった。
A piece of furniture is placed in the corner of the room. (?)
The gate is blocking the dirt road. (?)
Part II
やさしめ。
ただしひねった問題が多かった。
Q: Do you know when he is arriving?
A: I need to check his email.
Q: What is the name of the person who is going to give a talk?
A: I don’t remember it.
Q: Where can I find a form?
A: You should ask Ms. White.
Q: Can you tell me how many people are coming?
A: I don’t know it.
など。
受験者の裏をかく問題。
「Do you know whenだから時の情報が来るな。」
と思わせておいて

でも意味をつかめればそう難しくはない。
Part III
全体的に会話が短かったような気がした。
選択肢にあげられている語句がみな会話に登場するので、混乱しがちな問題が結構あった。
会話を聞く前に質問を読んでおかないと大変。
Where did he go last month?
(A) Ireland
(B) Australia
(C) China
(D) Austria
という問題があり、一瞬
「 Australia と Austria の聞き分けをさせる問題か？」
と思ったが正解は China だった。
Part IV
Short Talk の数は全部で９。
問題が２つ付いている Short Talk が７コで、３つのが２コ。
難易度は標準的。
一番初めの問題でつまずいた。
81. What is the purpose of this talk?
という質問。
話の内容は工事をするので通常の入り口が使えないというのを従業員に知らせるというもの。
To suggest office renovations
To inform workers about a project
で迷った。
suggest は「提案する」とか「示唆する」とかいう意味なので、ちょっと違う。
でも、もう一方のも project が「改装工事」にあたるのか疑問。
最後には後者を選んだが自信なし。
Part V
やや簡単。
品詞の問題多し。
like likely liking likelihood
product productive productively productivity
などからひとつ選ぶ問題。
語彙の問題は副詞が難しめ。

難易度普通。
品詞の問題多し。

1問落とした（だぶん）。
ミュージシャンに関する文章でレコードがアルバムチャートのトップに来たという内容。
…put it at the top of the album chart.
「 on the top かな。」と思って選んだ。
でも今、ネットで検索したら
... the rest of the U2 team put How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb at the top of the album chart this week with ...
とあったので at で正しいようだ。
Part VII
文章の数は14コ。
前半は短め。
最後の５コくらいは長かった。
内容も初めはやさしめ、後半は難しめ。
今回使われた言い換え表現の例
the keynote speech = the keynote address
to verify the information = to confirm the information
to keep it confidential = it should not be revealed
全体的にやさしめ。
